I post many things for the site that are in the meme circuit, didn’t expect it to become so popular and controversial. I believe the original came from George Takei’s Facebook. Anyway, apologies, for the tumblr again we just try and post things that are cool. I didn’t think it’d get 80,000 responses! If I had known I woulda looked into it more carefully. I’m sorry if you feel misled. From now on, any image that deals with something as serious as this we will screen better. Most of the tumblr and website, as you can see, is about science fiction, fantasy and horror content, with a smattering of political and social commentary here and there. The picture/meme portion of our posts is mostly because 1) things look cool and 2) it gets people attracted to the rest of the content. Since most of the pictures on here are of fictional characters and usually humorous we didn’t take screening them as seriously. Sorry if it’s a let down folks. And again, I had no idea we had so many responses to this so…this kinda came out of nowhere. Our website itself is more professionally run and our tumblr will soon be subject to the same level of scrutiny.
